From the start of production, in the early days Star yachts were advertised to traders by postcard sized photos of the yacht ranges, this was followed mid 1920s by Star's own trade catalogue and adverts in the toy trade catalogues and magazines up to the late 1930s then Star relied solely on their own in-house trade catalogues which carried on until closure in 1990.
Most of the advertising took place in the 1930s including attending sales exhibitions and was not needed later on as reputation for the yachts spread by word of mouth.
